The Urban Development Institute are celebrating the best of the year's Queensland development projects through a night of escapism on the Orient Express.

"Our Awards this year is all about evoking the glamour, excitement and romance of the famous Orient Express," says UDIA Director of Public Affairs, Susan McCosker. "We needed a design for the event which would capture the imagination of our members and entice them to escape with us for a ‘Journey on the Orient Express’."

Tell's design solution in based on the sophistication of the 1920's  luxury train, taking in exotic destinations and foreign flavours.

When Animals Ruled the Earth

by Gary Schmidt

Josh Keyes work makes me want to be a better painter. Juxtaposing animals and decaying urban environments with precision reminiscent of Jeffrey Smart, he creates dioramas that are equally engaging and disturbing.
