Tell has recently been working with management consultancy,
Stockwell Bretton, to develop their new brand.

The Stockwell Bretton team specialise in innovative advice and support across Human Resources, Business Performance and Project Management.

Tell's playful brand solution uses a leaf cutter ant as a visual metaphor. The ant has complex agricultural and social practices based on mutualism, forming symbiotic relationships with host plants. Rather than leaves, Stockwell Bretton's ants carry a changing semaphore of panels.

The brand has been successfully launched across a range of mediums including the new office fitout, printed collateral, signage and an online presence.

Murder Ballads - Chapter 2

Forget love, if there’s one thing that’s fascinated songwriters for centuries it’s death – or murder to be precise.

After the sold out Murder Ballads Chapter One, the next deliciously dark Chapter is coming to the Judith Wright Centre for more tales of crime and retribution.

With a different line up on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 April, artists will perform their favourite ballads from past and present, alongside their own original songs inspired by the dark side.

Thanks to the Judith Wright Centre, Tell have a double pass to give away to one of our lucky Tell All e-news subscribers for the Friday night performance! It's first in best served, so click here if you'd like to attend. Winner will be announced in April's Tell All.

C-H-I-I-E or C-H-I-L-E?

Article review by Damian Gibson

Missing the obvious happens to everyone –
even in the production of a national currency.

The country of Chile mistakingly minted a set of 50-peso coins with the nation's name spelt C-H-I-I-E instead of the usual C-H-I-L-E. The mistake was missed by everyone including the mint's General Manager and Head Franker. The coins are now becoming much sought after collectors items.

PostCards from Brisbane

by Clare Treston

Our creative subsiduary, Harrisson, is honouring our hometown by producing a new series, PostCards from Brisbane.

Sick of the naff 'normal' postcards, we thought our city and its visitors would appreciate a creative take on Brissy's icons. The first 3 fun and colourful cards in the series are Jolly, HQ and True Story.

We hope you get into a bit of community pride and support the PostCards from Brisbane series (although we admit the one of the Koala riding a surfboard is hard to beat).

Pro Soda-Tax Ads

Article review by Clare Treston

Advertising Age, 2 March 2010, by Natalie Zmuda

An ad battle around a proposed sugar tax in New York is heating up. The fight is on between health advocates and the American Beverage Association. All it reminds me of is when 'Carin-a-lot-a-vich' Marge Simpson takes on Big Sugar:
"Note to Marge...Get Out!"
